Funded interpreting services
National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA)
Eligible NDIS registered service providers can access funded interpreting services to assist with implementation of supports in a participant's plan. Please refer to the NDIA’s website to check your eligibility and obtain instructions on registering for a funded TIS National client code.
Department of Health, Disability and Ageing
Approved providers of aged care services
The Australian Government offers interpreting services to help people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds access and navigate the aged care system. Please refer to the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing website to check your eligibility and obtain instructions on registering for a funded TIS National client code.
PHN-commissioned mental health services
The Australian Government offers funded interpreting services for approved PHN-commissioned mental health services to assist people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds when accessing mental health support. Services may include (but not limited to):
- Medicare Mental Health Centres
- Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program
- headspace support services.
These programs are eligible to access TIS National services at no cost. Please refer to the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing website to check your eligibility and obtain instructions on registering for a funded TIS National client code.
