Important reminders
Uploading your documents
Please upload photos or colour files when submitting your application. Certified copies and black-and-white copies are not accepted.
You will need to provide copies of your original files. Applicants must provide genuine documents to be translated.
Applying on behalf of someone else
You can use your Free Translating Service account to apply on behalf of someone else. The account holder must provide each applicant's personal information and visa details. Applications for document translations are submitted one at a time.
Each individual document will be validity checked against the applicant name.
Everyone needs their own application, including family members
Example 1: You want to get your children’s vaccination records translated. You need to create a separate application for each child in your account. If each child had 10 documents, they will have 9 remaining following this request.
Example 2: You want to get you and your spouse’s driver licences translated. You need to lodge 2 applications in your account: one for yourself as the account holder, and one for your spouse as a second applicant. This will count as one of your 10 documents translations, and one for your spouse.
