Free Interpreting Service for allied health professionals

From 24 October 2022, some privately employed allied health professionals will have access to the Australian Government’s Free Interpreting Services (FIS). The FIS aims to provide equitable access to key services for people with limited or no English language proficiency. Can I work from home

Yes. TIS National interpreters can work from home by completing telephone and video remote assignments. Interpreters working from home are required to have a quiet area to complete assignments without distractions.
